Seniors' Care : Who do I Contact for Information?
Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) are local agencies that provide information about care options in your area. The CCACs were established by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in 1996, to help the public access government-funded home and community services and long-term care homes. There are 14 CCACs throughout Ontario. Whether you are just beginning to explore your needs or ready to finalize arrangements, your local CCAC can help you :
To take the first step, use the CCAC Locator to find a CCAC near you. To find out more about other services provided by CCACs, see the Community Care Access Centres section. |
