Reports on Long-Term Care Homes
The Reports on Long-Term Care (LTC) Homes website provides information about the more than 600 LTC homes in Ontario. LTC homes are government-funded and regulated by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
The Reports on LTC Homes will let you find homes within a desired area and see general information about a home, such as the ownership and number of beds. You can also view the results of ministry inspections and see if there are any complaints issued against a particular home during a specified reporting period .
The provision of this information does not imply any endorsement or recommendations on behalf of the Province of Ontario, of any long-term care homes.
To find out more about how reporting on long-term care homes is done, see the Frequently Asked Questions and the Glossary of Terms .
You are strongly encouraged to visit each home that you are considering before making a final decision . This will help ensure that it is the right choice for you or your loved one.
