Choosing a Home

To get a feel for culture, on-going activities and the general atmosphere of a home, it is best to visit the homes that interest you.  Use a checklist of things to consider and speak with the staff and residents.

Once you’ve made a decision, please contact your local Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) to apply for a long-term care home.  You cannot apply directly to a LTC home from this website.
