Foodborne Disease Investigation and Management : An Ontario Symposium
On March 1-2, 2010, Ontario hosted a symposium with local, provincial and federal agencies to collaborate on measures to improve foodborne outbreak investigations and management.
The agenda included case studies, table top exercises and review of roles and responsibilities aimed at strengthening lines of communication between key local, provincial and federal players.
The Organizing Committee would like to thank all of the participants who attended this symposium: “We strongly believe that the objectives of this two-day event were achieved. This would not have been possible without your active participation during the two day session and your commitment to Public Health. Your feedback provided through the evaluation forms is of great importance and is now being reviewed to help provide content for future events.”
