Plans For Grace Village Windsor LTC Being Reviewed

McGuinty Government Increasing Access To Modern Long-Term Care Homes

The province is reviewing updated plans for the proposed long-term care residence at the former Grace Hospital site in Windsor.

In August 2007, Grace Village Windsor Inc. was selected as the successful applicant to develop the site to accommodate 160 new beds.  In February 2009, Grace Village Windsor Inc. was awarded an additional 96 beds and preliminary plans to reflect the 256 bed home were approved on June 30, 2010.  The operator submitted working drawings for the project on February 7, 2011.
