Ontario Announces Finalists For Health Care Innovation Awards

McGuinty Government Celebrates Annual Showcase Of Health Care Initiatives

Ontario is celebrating innovations in health care with its fourth annual showcase of original initiatives that are delivering better patient care across the province.

Some of the finalists include innovations that improve care for people with dementia, aboriginals with diabetes and homeless pregnant women. Presented by HealthAchieve, in partnership with the Government of Ontario, the award winners will be announced at the Celebrating Innovations in Health Care Expo on Nov. 18 in Toronto.

 Award finalists have been determined for each of these six categories:
