Ambulance Offload Nurse Initiative

The McGuinty government is providing a total of $9.6 million to 16 municipalities to hire nurses who are dedicated to receiving non-emergent patients who arrive in hospital emergency rooms by ambulance. Municipalities, who manage ambulance services, work with their local hospitals in the placement of these dedicated nursing services. Listed below is a breakdown of the funding:
