On November 9, 2011, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Health Quality Ontario and the Ontario Hospital Association will come together for the first time to host the Leading Healthcare Quality Summit & Innovations Expo.
Formerly Celebrating Innovations in Health Care Expo, the Leading Healthcare Quality Summit & Innovations Expo is an interactive, idea-sharing forum with an expanded focus on leadership in the quality agenda.

This year’s event showcases HQO’s mandate of leadership in quality improvement in Ontario and will feature initiatives that focus on improvements in transitions in care, resulting in better continuity of care as well as leadership in the development of organizational Quality Improvement Plans in Ontario. Participants will have a unique opportunity to network with other healthcare professionals, discuss and share innovations and generate new ways to sustain continuous quality improvement.
The event is the year’s most important opportunity to get inspired about programs and innovations that are fuelling Ontario’s Excellent Care for All Strategy, and to learn about groundbreaking projects in other provinces.
