Career Scientist Awards

The Career Scientist Awards have been discontinued and the Ministry will not be accepting applications for 2011.

For over twenty years, the Career Scientist Awards celebrated the research excellence of Ontario’s most promising early career health researchers.

The Career Scientist program supported the best and brightest researchers in Ontario as they pursued their research in health services, health systems and population health. Many former Career Scientists have gone on to establish successful university careers and been awarded major research grants from the Canadian Institutes for Health Research.
