Research Grants : Accountability Requirements

Research grants are governed by agreements between the principal researcher, the sponsoring organization and the ministry. Please note clause 8 in our Transfer Payment Accountability Agreement (TPAA) which governs intellectual property.

All Ministry-funded research institutions field Applied Health Research Questions from the broader health care system.

Although the specifics of each agreement may vary according to the parameters of the project or program, the ministry requires progress reports that are standard for all current agreements. The standard accountability requirements required by all current research agreements include :
