The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is seeking a Transfer Payment Agent (TPA) to operate and manage a central equipment pool (CEP) for high technology wheelchairs. "High technology wheelchairs" are defined as those power wheelchairs that include a power dynamic positioning device – power tilt and/or power recline – as a component. The CEP provides equipment for assessment and purchase to eligible Ontarians. Ongoing technical support, equipment repairs and maintenance services are also provided by the CEP at no cost to the client.
