Assistive Devices Program

In the event of a Canada Post labour disruption, the following ADP services will be impacted.

Grant renewal letters

If you are due to receive a grant payment and you:

Mobility Authorizer reports

Reports will not be available during the strike. Reports will be mailed out when full Canada Post services have resumed.

Insurance letters

We will continue to process your insurance letter requests and either email or fax the letter to you. We will not send letters directly to insurance companies.

Signed contracts for vendors and authorizers; revised Schedule B for vendors

We will send these documents by regular courier.

How to send us mail

Canada Post will be holding all mail, including letters, parcels, Xpresspost and Priority deliveries.

If you have urgent mail, you may send it by pre-paid courier (collect courier packages will not be accepted) or deliver it in person to our office at:

The office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, and is closed on statutory holidays.
