Necessary system changes to reflect these exemptions will be implemented no later than November 1, 2000 and all exemptions will be retroactive to April 1, 2000.

To enable the processing of your claims and retroactive payments, effective immediately, physicians are required to submit, for the same patient, those in-hospital after-hour non-elective services, and the associated services, on the same claim record. No other services should be included on this claim record. Claims submitted without a valid hospital number will not be exempted from the physician's threshold income.
