For physicians who currently have automated direct deposit with the MOHTLC, the premium year 2000 malpractice reimbursement will be deposited directly into the applicable physicians’ accounts by March 23, 2001.

In February 2001, only physicians who are not eligible or did not choose the automated reimbursement process will be receiving an application package for the 2000 malpractice coverage period. Completed applications are due at the MOHTLC on or before June 30, 2001. The 2000 malpractice reimbursement payment will be issued approximately 8 weeks after receipt of your completed application.

For your convenience, following is a table summarizing the key information about submitting the application form and dates for both the 2000 and 2001 malpractice reimbursement.
