Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) members, once you register with the ministry for either Payment Option A – Advance Reimbursement or Option B – In Year Quarterly Reimbursement, there are no reimbursement deadlines to worry about, and therefore no need to annually submit an application for reimbursement with your CMPA acknowledgement.
If program eligibility remains intact, future reimbursements will be automatically processed by the ministry. The two options are:
To change a payment option, follow the instructions on the Medical Liability Protection (MLP) Reimbursement Program Authorization, or fax your completed form to: (613) 545-5810. Once your automated payment selection has been successfully processed by the ministry, there is no need to register again. Future reimbursements will be automatically processed by the ministry upon receipt of confirmation of payment from the CMPA.
