H1N1 Immunization Program - 2009/2010

H1N1 Invitation Package

The H1N1 Invitation Package has been developed for vaccine delivery agents at the local public health unit level to assist with administration of the H1N1 Immunization Program. The package informs vaccine delivery agents about the vaccine storage and reporting requirements that are necessary to participate in the H1N1 Immunization Program. In addition, vaccine delivery agents need to be aware that both their local public health unit and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (the ministry) require the collection of certain data when delivery agents are participating in the H1N1 Immunization Program.

The documents in the H1N1 Invitation Package, listed below, provide information about the H1N1-2009 vaccine, including who can deliver the vaccine. Vaccine delivery agents interested in providing H1N1 immunization clinics are encouraged to express their interest in participating in the H1N1 Immunization Program to their local public health unit.

H1N1 Implementation Package

The H1N1 Implementation Package provides public health units and vaccine delivery agents with information and materials that will assist them with administration of the H1N1 Immunization Program.

The H1N1 Implementation Package is distributed to vaccine delivery agents by their local public health units. A user name and password to access the Implementation Package online is also provided by the local public health unit.

The H1N1 Implementation Package includes information about the H1N1 vaccine and the necessary requirements for the administration of H1N1 vaccine.

Vaccine delivery agents should note that new documents are being developed for this package on a regular basis as more information about the vaccine becomes available.
