Smoke-Free Ontario

The government is reviewing previously planned changes to the rules around vaping to make sure any changes reflect the best available evidence. The new Smoke Free Ontario Act, 2017 was paused before it came into force on July 1, 2018. The Smoke Free Ontario Act, 2006 that sets out rules on the sale, supply, use, display and promotion of tobacco products and the Electronic Cigarettes Act remain in force.
