Measles Cases in Ontario
The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care is working closely with Public Health Ontario and local public health units to monitor and investigate reported measles cases in Ontario. The table below shows current confirmed* cases:

*Laboratory confirmation of infection with clinically compatible signs and symptoms in the absence of recent immunization with measles-containing vaccine OR clinically compatible signs and symptoms in a person with a known epidemiologic link to a laboratory-confirmed case of measles.

***One confirmed case has been reported in Hamilton. The link between this and the other cases is still under investigation.

Data is provided by the office of Ontario's Chief Medical Officer of Health in collaboration with Public Health Ontario and is collected by public health units across the province.
