Mumps Is Back

Cases of mumps continue to be reported in Ontario. Mumps is a very contagious viral illness that can cause serious complications. Catch it, and you’ll have to spend nine  days in isolation.  It takes two doses of mumps vaccine to fully protect a person. Four out of five young adults in Ontario are not fully protected. Make sure you are. Get your mumps catch-up vaccination.

Where to get the vaccine

Vaccinations are available at a student health clinic on campus, your doctor’s office, walk-in clinics and at your local public health unit.
