Medical Officer of Health-in-Training Bursary Program

The ministry is offering bursary funding for Ontario physicians who wish to obtain medical officer of health qualifications. To be eligible for this program, physicians must be currently practising in a public health unit in Ontario as an acting medical officer of health or physician-consultant and have the support of their board of health to pursue a part-time master’s level education program in public health that meets the requirements of the Health Protection and Promotion Act.
