The Tour is an annual job fair that provides underserviced communities in Ontario with an opportunity to meet and recruit health care professionals, medical residents and students in medicine, nursing and rehabilitation. The Tour provides community representatives with a chance to discuss the medical opportunities and the lifestyles of their respective communities.

The 2008 Health Professionals Recruitment Tour

The Health Professionals Recruitment Tour is administered by the Professional Association of Internes and Residents of Ontario (PAIRO). PAIRO has more than a decade of commitment working with communities and stakeholders to help address the challenge of physician recruitment and retention. PAIRO partners with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines on this event.
