For health care providers to protect themselves, staff, and patients from infection for the first seven to 10 days of a droplet-spread illness outbreak of a large-scale infectious disease
Hand Sanitizer

Quantity = 6 bottles of 354mL
Hand hygiene is the most important infection control practice. Hand sanitizer with 60-90% alcohol is portable and is easily accessible in office settings. Physicians/staff before and after seeing a patient, before touching face, after removing PPE.

Ear-loop procedure masks

Quantity = 500
Fluid-resistant ear-loop procedure masks provide the same level of droplet protection as surgical masks, along with increased ease of use. Mask for physician and/or staff when providing care within one metre of patient.

Mask for any patient with Influenza-like-illness (ILI) in the waiting room.
Non-latex exam gloves

Quantity = 100 large
                   100 medium
Exam gloves are hypoallergenic, standard sizes to fit a broad spectrum of individuals, and are disposable. Physician/staff when in contact with mucous membranes or body fluids, or touching contaminated surfaces.
Re-usable eye protection glasses

Quantity = 6
Glasses provide a barrier to splashes from front and side, and are easier to use than visors or face-shields, and can be used multiple times. Eye protection for physician and/or staff when providing care within one metre of patient.
Disposable gowns

Quantity = 20
Disposable gowns are comfortable and easy to dispose of. Gowns for physician and/or staff for procedures/patient care where clothing might be contaminated.
Surface cleaner/disinfectant wipes

Quantity = 2 containers of 160 wipes
Sanitizing surfaces and equipment such as eye protection after each patient visit is an important infection control practice and sani-wipes are effective and easy to use in offices. Re-usable equipment such as eye protection and stethoscopes, as well as surfaces which may have been contaminated by droplets, must be cleaned and disinfected between patients.

Quantity = 1
Ministry information sheets provide consistent messaging to be displayed in public areas in standardized plastic sleeve that will provide easily recognizable information from the ministry. Information pages can be printed off from ministry websites, inserted into these folders, and prominently displayed to provide instructions to patients and staff.
