The 2007 Ontario Health Plan for an Influenza Pandemic (OHPIP) was released on July 25, 2007. As with previous iterations, this year’s plan was a collaborative effort involving more than 400 individuals and experts from across the healthcare sector, labour and government.
The OHPIP continues to be improved and enhanced year after year - building pandemic preparedness and planning in Ontario.
The 2007 OHPIP includes updates to existing chapters, as well as new chapters and tools designed to further guide and support planning across the healthcare continuum in the areas of emergency medical services, addictions and mental health, paediatrics and cancer care. There is also a new chapter dedicated to public health measures.
