Grow Your Own Nurse Practitioner Program

The Grow Your Own Nurse Practitioner Initiative (GYONP) alleviates Nurse Practitioner (NP) recruitment challenges faced by Ontario communities/organizations.

In order to update the initiative to reflect the needs of today's environment, the ministry will be temporarily suspending the GYONP as of November 4, 2014. The ministry continues to process the applications received prior to November 4, 2014.

The GYONP is expected to be re-launched in spring 2015.
