OHIP Insured Chiropractic Services | |

Effective December 1, 2004, OHIP chiropractic
services will no longer be insured. The six-month limitation period for the
submission of billings will still apply for insured services rendered to insured
persons by registered chiropractors on or before November 30, 2004. Amendments to regulations under the Health Insurance Act have also been made to provide consistency with the Public Hospitals Act. X-rays ordered by chiropractors in any setting are uninsured (Hospitals, Independent Health Facilities and Chiropractic offices). |
