ADP : Incontinence Supplies

On January 1, 1999, the Easter Seal Society, Ontario, will be responsible for launching a new incontinence supply program for children and youth with disabilities.

This replaces the existing benefit from the Assistive Devices Program (ADP).

The Easter Seal Society has been meeting the needs of children and youth with disabilities and their families. The Ontario government has selected the Society to Administer this program because it is a professionally managed, not-for-profit organization, with deep involvement in providing services to children throughout the province. The provincial government will continue to fund this program.

This initiative is consistent with the governments direction to establish community-based programs which are easier to access locally.
