The Dr. William Sibbald Award for Excellence in Patient Safety
The Government of Ontario is pleased to establish the Dr. William Sibbald Award for Excellence in Patient Safety to recognize successful patient safety initiatives. The late Dr. Sibbald was a pioneer in critical care medicine and a champion of improvements in patient safety system-wide. The Ontario Government is honoured to name this award after him. The Dr. William Sibbald Award for Excellence in Patient Safety recognizes excellence and innovation in the development and implementation of patient safety initiatives across the health care system.
