Romeo Court Life Lease Residences is a five-story apartment complex for persons 55 years and older.   VON Perth Huron offers an Adult Day Service; a foot care clinic; seniors exercise program; congregate dining and the availability for residents to purchase a full course hot lunch.   The project was developed out of a partnership between not-for-profit agencies, private business and the municipality to address the increasing long waiting list of seniors housing in Stratford.      

The project innovation was the concept of “aging in place” incorporated into the structure and services offered to assist residents to remain in their own environment for as long as possible.   The building was designed to meet the changing needs of seniors.   The project was the winner of the Canadian Philanthropy's New Spirit of Community Partnership Award in 2000.
