Organization: St Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton Project: Hamilton City-wide PACS Ð LHINs; the Next Frontier Contact: David Wormald St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) Department of Diagnostic Imaging was an early adopter spearheading the implementation of a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). The implementation of PACS at SJHH has resulted in both improved clinical care and patient outcomes. PACS has enabled a patient's diagnostic image to be viewed electronically and concurrently to authorized users anytime, and anywhere within the walls of SJHH instantaneously at the click of a button. |
