As you may be aware, a Bulletin Board System (BBS) notice was issued on July 31, 2007 to all subscribers and posted on the ministry's website inviting public comment regarding the desired lead time between the release date of the Formulary Update and the effective date.

I am writing to provide you with an update concerning the lead time.

Please be advised that effective as of the next Formulary Update, the ministry will endeavor to provide a lead time of seven (7) business days, from the day of posting, before the Formulary Update comes into effect. Please be advised that the Executive Officer reserves the right to make any change at any time to the timing of the Formulary update as is deemed necessary.
