Claims Submissions
Due to the staged implementation of new system processes, a Medical Claims Adjustment (MADJ) for Laryngoscopy in association with Gastroscopy was required to reprocess claims for Z292/Z293 and associated relevant codes.
The Medical Claims Adjustment process for Laryngoscopy in association with Gastroscopy started in January 2020 and appears on the February 2020 Remittance Advice (RA).
The MADJ includes claims submitted, with service dates between October 1, 2019 and December 3, 2019, that were previously paid, that have been adjusted accordingly to reflect the new payment rules in the Schedule.
