Medical Liability Protection (MLP) Reimbursements-Quarterly Payment
The Ministry of Health (ministry) has been made aware that some Ontario providers are missing their quarterly Medical Liability Protection Reimbursement Program (MLP) payments. These payments were scheduled to be direct deposited on April 24, 2020.
The problem has been identified as an issue with the payment file. The ministry is working on a fix that would result in a direct deposit payment without the need for physicians to take any action.
For those physicians who did not receive their quarterly payment, it is now scheduled to be deposited by May 22, 2020.
The ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this issue.
